Week of Feb 27-March 5

We've had a busy, tiring week.  Literally.  I know U has been really tired.  As an example, one night when I went to change Matthew's diaper after feeding him, he had on one of Megan's diapers.  And for those of you familiar with our diapers, Megan's diapers currently look different than Matthew's, so it is not so easy to grab the wrong one.  Good news is that the diaper didn't leak and that it was Matthew in Megan's diaper and not the other way around.

Other happenings include:

• Megan started solids.  She loves her oatmeal and will anxiously eat all we will give her.  (See post on Megan's 6 month birthday for pictures)
• Sarah celebrated Dr. Seuss Day at school on Wednesday.  She got to take a pillow and blanket to school and wore her pajamas.  They read lots of Dr. Seuss books and painted Dr. Seuss pictures.  U was able to go read the class a book.  Sarah really enjoyed it.  It must have been quite a change from the normal uniform days!

• One night when I was reading Megan a book before bed, she kept looking at the picture and then looking back at me.  It was really cute!
• More insurance fun!  We got a letter asking us to say why Megan was in Physical Therapy.  Was it because of a work-related incident?  Um, she's 6 months old.  Was she in an accident?  Um, no.  Do they not have a note somewhere in their records stating that they approved Physical Therapy for her based on the evaluation we had done before starting it? 
• Megan has started rolling over in her crib.  We put her to sleep on her back and before too long, she'll fuss.  In we go and there she is on her tummy.  Or she'll go to sleep on her back and then roll over onto her tummy when she wakes up.  Then she'll fuss.  (She really needs to learn that if she doesn't want to be on her tummy she should either not roll onto it or figure out how to roll back to her back!)  This is all fine and good except when it happens in the middle of the night and she subsequently decides that since mom and/or dad have come in, it would be a great time to play.  And if they leave, she should fuss more.  This is definitely a HUGE contributor to the tiredness part of the week.  On a positive note, she has rolled over her right side from back to front in her crib.  And we know she rolled tummy to back at least once because she was on her tummy and then she was on her back.
• At school, Sarah goes to starfall.com during her computer special.  She really likes this.  This week, she decided to see if she could go there at home.  She asked us, "Do we have the blue 'e' on our computer?"  She was very happy to discover that we did!
• Megan has started sucking her tongue.  It looks and sounds funny but she loves doing it.
• We are taking advantage of the nice weather by going on some walks.  One evening I went on a long walk with Megan and Matthew.  Megan loves walks and was looking around very contentedly the whole time.  Matthew slept the first half of our journey.  The second half, he let us know that he would rather not be on the walk by crying the whole way!

• Matthew is finally getting over his cold/ear infection.  He had a bit of a rough week, not sleeping or eating very regularly, but he's doing better now.
