Or something like that.
I did have a birthday a few weeks ago. Kids make birthdays a lot of fun. All day long, Megan kept coming up to me and saying things like, "Happy birthday mommy!" and "It's your birthday." She was so excited for me! And that's contagious. I even asked her if she'd keep saying it after my birthday, but alas, she said no. Sarah and Matthew were extra nice to me as well.
My parents were here the morning of my birthday, which was nice. The night before, my mom made us a yummy dinner of turkey fajitas and then for my birthday breakfast, she made waffles. U spoiled me by making chicken sundaes and a yummy blueberry lemon crisp for dinner. Yum!
With the beautiful picture U framed for me and my birthday balloons. Why is it that balloons make everything seem happier?
Opening a book of Christmas stories with my eager helpers looking on.
Here's a nice note Sarah wrote for me for my birthday.
Birthday loves!
Yummy crisp!
A basket of citrus fruit that my amazing visiting teacher brought over. So delicious!
