We went to the Phoenix Zoo's Cruise the Zoo. It was great as we got to drive around while listening to audio about the different animals we saw.

Science Center Visit

 The last Wednesday of remote learning, Megan, Matthew and Me took advantage of the asynchronous Wednesday afternoon to head to the Science Center.

They thought it would be fun to squeeze into one of the spinners together. They found it to be rather squishy.

A Change of Cars

This past weekend, we traded in our Prizm for a new car. It was still running relatively well but it would not pass emissions without some work and since it is already 21 years old, we opted to replace it instead of spending the money on repairs.

The new car. It's a Toyota Corolla. Our old car was a Corolla wannabe (it had a Chevy body and a Toyota powertrain), and now we have the real deal. 

Megan's 10th birthday!

Megan turned 10! Wow! A whole decade old. She was very excited for her big day.

After the gifts were opened. She received the Lego Ninjago movie, Harry Potter dragon Lego set, art supplies (pastels, markers and paper) and paper dragons. She also received 5 balloons and some money.

She chose to have strawberry shortcake with ice cream for dessert. Yum!

At her 10 year check up, Megan weighed in at 71 pounds (46%) and measured 58 inches tall (90%).
