Happy Birthday Mom!

Me had a birthday, shout hooray!

The birthday girl!

She chose to have one of her favorites for dessert, blueberry-lemon crisp with vanilla ice cream.

She got some presents.

On Monday, U and Me continued the celebration by going on a hike on nearby South Mountain.

Me going through "Fat Man's Pass". It was a tight fit...

... but she made it through!

U almost made it through!

We saw a wild goat!

We then went to Snooze for a late brunch.  U got a flight of pancakes.  Left to right: Cinnamon Roll, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Strawberry Shortcake.  The waitress also brought out a Sticky Toffee pancake as a freebie which was very nice.

Me got the breakfast tacos which were also very tasty.  Of course they were all shared equally.

It was fun to celebrate with her.

Thanksgiving 2025

Grandma and Grandpa A came for a visit at Thanksgiving. We enjoyed lots of visiting, eating good food and playing games and Mario Kart. We participated in the annual Turkey Trot our ward does on Thanksgiving.

Cute selfie Grandpa took when he meant to get a picture the other way.

Matthew is taller than Grandma! Barely.

Me and Grandma put together the Anne of Green Gables puzzle we picked up on PEI.

Grandma and Grandpa went down to visit Sarah and her family.

We sat close to the band. It was fun to see them playing their stand tunes.

Some November Happenings

The first part of November was filled with lots of marching band as Megan and Matthew prepared for the state championship. There was also a lot of excitement as the theme of next year's show (Ms. Fortune) was revealed.

Megan was awarded the "Hyper Energizer Bunny Award" in marching band.

Here are a few other happenings:

Matthew and Artemis resting together.

Artemis managed to get her bed under the green cushion so she could have a pillow.

Sarah and Lionheart came for a visit which was really nice.
Lionheart liked Matthew's orange crocs.

Playing with big Legos.

Me put on 3 pair of Matthew's glasses to see if she could see. Answer: not really!

Grandpa playing with Lionheart!

Grandma pushing Lionheart in the swing.

We did the Czech Republic Yum box.

Megan and Ayasha went to Reed Day at University of Arizona and the only picture we took was of these adorable little robots driving around campus.

Sarah drove down to meet Me for lunch which was really nice.

Recent Megan quote: We are literally a desert. We need good ice cream.

Stadium Lights

The Hamilton marching band put on a show for friends and family so that those of us who often don't get to see the show from the stands (because we are working concessions or pit crew) could see it. We enjoyed watching them march their show one more time. Their show was "The Lost City" and it showed them searching for the lost city and treasure, complete with a treasure map on backdrops.
During the marching.

Grace, Megan and Ayasha with a table. There were 7 tables total: each member of the guard besides Betty were behind a table at the beginning of the show.
