"Hooshing" the yard
We did a little yard work on Saturday and Matthew decided he would "hoosh" the yard like I was doing. He was very diligent about it and went all over the yard to try and suck up leaves.

A trip to the park
A few weekends ago, we got on our bikes and rode to Chuparosa Park, which is a few miles west of our home. It was a nice outing.
Sarah pushed Megan.
Megan pushed Sarah.
Megan found ways to swing by herself.
I was there. (Not the most flattering photo, but I think it's important to include some pictures of me.)
Matthew climbing the wall. Aided by his tongue, of course.
Sarah swinging around the hoops.
Fun slide ride with dad.
We stopped by Kokomos on the way home, which was a huge hit.
A lot of pictures
Megan and Matthew's room was hit by a tornado. Or a couple of toddlers.
A few weeks ago, I found the area around the changing table remarkably clean. And bare.
I knew I'd find the clothes somewhere....
Matthew was a big helper with putting the clothes away.
Matthew set up this game of I Spy for us. It is a truck.
It's amazing how much harder it is to play memory when you have two long straight lines of cards.....
We don't discriminate when it comes to who provides mommy's milk around here.
Sarah pretending to sleep. She wanted this picture when we took the picture of Megan asleep on my lap.
Matthew wanted a shot of our hands. It's supposed to look like one of those wedding shots.

A nest by Sarah
Sarah took some nice photos of a bird's nest in our apple tree.
The dazzling photographer herself :)
(She took this herself using the timer.)

A bit tired
Time was around 4:30 pm. Megan was up before 5:30 am with no nap due to church. Doesn't look to comfortable to me but she was able to sleep for quite awhile.

Happy Easter!!!
HAPPY EASTER!!!
The kids in their new Easter outfits.
The last few years, the Easter Bunny stops at our house on Easter Eve. It's nice because the kids have the fun of the Easter baskets and looking for eggs Saturday and then on Sunday we can focus more on the Resurrection.
Megan and Matthew searching for Easter eggs in our yard. After Megan found an egg, she'd open it to see what was inside.
Hmmmmm......
There one is!
Our ward had an Easter activity Saturday morning. Here Megan and Matthew are balancing plastic eggs on spoons. Matthew discovered that if he put his hand on the egg, it made the task super easy!
Megan shows the eggs she got on the ward Easter egg hunt. You may notice that they're all a certain color. She'd run past all sorts of eggs until she saw a pink one. She'd then stop and put it in her basket.
Matthew wanted a picture of his eggs, too. He was less discriminating when it came to eggs collected.
The kids playing with their glow wands.
We hope everyone had a great Easter!
They're talking about me!
With it being the Easter season, we've been reading lots of scriptures in the New Testament, and especially in Matthew. When we read a scripture in Matthew, Matthew will often say, "Hey! They're talking about me!" or "They're talking about me again!" He's so excited and will get a huge smile on his face. It's really cute.

What is Megan wearing?
If you have to place a wager on what Megan is wearing at any given time, bet on pajamas. That'd be right most of the time. She does have to get dressed before breakfast. And she usually stays dressed until before nap time when she gets back in her jams. (She does occasionally put on her pjs before then, though.) She may or may not change back into normal clothes for the rest of the day depending upon the day's activities. However, she will often change her pajamas multiple times. For instance, yesterday she wore at least 5 different pairs of pajamas! And she was so excited to discover all the new pjs for her to wear when we got out her summer clothes. The excitement of a three year old:) What a wonderful thing.

Spring Fling
The neighborhood had a fun Easter/Spring party today. The kids loved finding the eggs and eating hamburgers and hot dogs. Sarah got her face painted and they all got balloon animals.
