Mother/Son Activity

Matthew and Me went to the Mother/Son Activity that the school had at KTR. The boys really enjoyed playing on the trampolines, playing dodge ball and running around the parkour area. They even spared a few moments for their moms.

Teen Quest

While Megan, Matthew and Me went to Las Vegas, Sarah stayed with grandma and grandpa a few extra days which she really enjoyed. She helped grandma at the food bank, went swimming and watched multiple movies. She then went to a personal development course called Teen Quest which she really loved. It helped her gain more confidence. Here are a few pictures of the group of kids she participated with as well as some of the work they did during the class.

Legoland Discovery Center

While Sarah was still in Utah, the rest of us headed to the Legoland Discovery Center. We had a nice time riding the rides, watching all four of the 4D movies, exploring Miniland and playing with Legos. Megan and Matthew enjoyed the Lego City Play Zone as well.

There weren't very many people at Merlin's Apprentice at the end of the day so we rode on it over and over and over again. Megan and Matthew really enjoyed being able to ride it all by themselves!

Las Vegas

Tuesday morning, Megan, Matthew and Me drove to Las Vegas. We spent a good part of the day at the Children's Museum with Cheryl-Lynn and Liz.

Megan really liked this sand. It was pretty interesting--it kind of stuck together and didn't sift through fingers like normal sand.

Cheryl-Lynn and Me headed to the Bellagio and ate yummy crepes. The theme of gardens at the Bellagio was a Japanese Spring. It was pretty to see the lanterns, birds, flowers and trees as well as a replica of Osaka Castle.

We watched several shows of the fountains. They can be mesmerizing.
