February Happenings Part 2

Final running club race of the year!

Matthew and Megan ran together for some of the time.

We had our pick a number dessert. Each person picked a number and got the dessert that corresponded to that number. Sarah got gummies, Matthew got a cinnamon roll, Me got a yogurt parfait, Megan got sorbet and U got carrot cake.

Matthew didn't go to school that day because he threw up again the night before. It was exactly one week after he threw up last time. We are hoping it doesn't become a pattern.

Matthew and Me played a lot of games. Here we are with Ticket to Ride First Journey.  We each played two colors, which resulted in a lot of completed routes. By the end, Matthew was in every city and Me was only missing Montreal.

Matthew really wanted to play Heroica so he and Me took an hour or two putting it together. We then defeated all the bad guys.

Me went out to dinner with her friends Krissy, Marilyn and Liz.

February Happenings Part 1

Megan and Matthew show off their Lego mini build creation--a car including a gas pump.

Megan and Matthew participated in a Jedi training where they learned basic self defense skill.

Megan got a new fish, Teeny. Teeny is very, very teeny. Sometimes we have a hard time finding her in the tank.

We had a glow stick party!

We ate sushi and then played Sushi Go one evening.

Enjoying sushi. Sarah, in particular, ate a ton!

Unfortunately, Matthew was sick with a stomach bug one night. Thankfully, he felt much better the next day. He took full advantage of his time off from school, including building this huge train track.

While discussing Pluto and its status: Matthew observed that Pluto just needed to get bigger.

Sarah had the YW over for a game night. They were playing Utter Nonsense and one of the cards said that something about how they were thinking about having kids but look at their plants. The girls then had a discussion about how it is harder to kill kids than plants.

First 2 Running Club Races

Megan and Matthew are in Running Club at school. The practice before school two days a week. They recently had two races. Here are a few pictures from the races.

Megan got 3rd place for 1st grade girls. Unfortunately, the ribbons were sent to the wrong school so she didn't get it until a week later.
