We explored the lighthouse on Point Loma and enjoyed the views of the bay, the ocean and Coronado Island. The overcast day was nice for all our explorations.
Around low tide, we went out to the tidepools where we enjoyed finding different sea life. Touching the sea anemone was a favorite of everyone--it felt like it was kissing your finger. We saw lots of crabs, snails and mollusks including goose-necked barnacles and volcano barnacles.

After dinner at the condo, we headed out on the pier to watch the sunset.
Favorite part of the tidepools:
Matthew: finding lots of crabs
Megan: when there was a big wave that got her really wet
Sarah: being on a rock in the middle of some water where she could look all around and see all sort of things
Me: exploring with both Megan and Matthew while U and Sarah went farther out on the rocks.
