We were able to visit with our good friends from Colorado Springs, the Allens (no relation). We had an awesome rib dinner and enjoyed catching up with them. We were able to meet their future son-in-law (who is now their actual son-in-law). We also discovered that Sarah is allergic to cats.
Our kids and Steven, their youngest. You can see Sarah's face is somewhat swollen from her allergic reaction, and this is a few hours later!

I remember the Allens in Colorado Springs. How fun that you got to see them! I'm allergic to cats, too, Sarah! I got hives just this week because one came around by legs and brushed up against me. No fun!
