Other Utah Happenings....

We really enjoyed our time in Utah. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and we spent lots of time outside going on walks and bike rides and just enjoying the cooler temperatures. The kids enjoyed playing at the park a few times and we enjoyed seeing a marriage proposal at the park. Sarah enjoyed having sleepovers with Kemarie, her second cousin, and going to a Provo rooftop concert. We also enjoyed some Liege waffles and some ice cream from the BYU creamery.

The one thing we didn't enjoy so much? The throw up! Unfortunately, Matthew got some sort of stomach bug and proceeded to throw up for a few days (although not very often the last couple days). The up side? We got to stay and enjoy the nice weather and the good company a bit longer. And no one else got the bug!

Sick Matthew. He really like the Lego firetruck dad made for him. And he also liked being able to be "Fireman Sam" and put out the (gas) fire in their fireplace.

We also played a lot of games. Pretty much every night we were there was spent playing games. Sometimes we had a small group and sometimes a large one. We played a lot of new games, a few old ones and married Mr. Darcy a few times. (Yes, that last one is a game.) It was fun!

Playing Ticket to Ride Asia, the team version.

The kids enjoyed playing with grandma and grandpa's toys.

U, Megan and Matthew made Elsa's tower.

Matthew loved playing with the Duplos, especially the boat ones.

Yes, a walker is a toy.

Matthew lined up all his cars on the windowsill and also put a sticker on each one. So cute!

And a few other random pictures:

They loved baths in the big jacuzzi tub!

Tired girls!

Tangled, aka Megan.

Sarah loved Fluffy, Charly's guinea pig.

Megan and Matthew liked wearing the visitor hats in Primary. Both weeks we were there, we increased the size of the Sunbeam class 200%!

  2. Glad no one else caught Matthew's bug. And it looks like he was still able to have some fun too. Family games make memories!
