We drove to LA on Saturday to catch a Sunday morning flight to Maui. Sunday morning, Megan and Matthew discovered that the leprechaun had found us in LA and left them socks.

Arrived! Megan and Matthew have now been in 49 states!

|
| We had some delicious pizza from the food trucks by Costco. The top pizza was a meat pizza and the bottom one was a fig pizza. Even Megan and Matthew liked the fig pizza |
We headed out down the Road to Hana. We listened to an audio tour which
gave us some history and made suggestions on where to stop. Since the Road
to Hana is not an easy drive, with lots of tight turns and one way bridges,
it said to be nice to the driver and give them ice cream or a massage. So
Megan gave U a shoulder massage at one stop. Megan loved all the shades of
green we saw. She said she could live in Hawaii (but then noted that she
said that about Minnesota as well).

|
| We stopped at the Ke'anae arboretum. |

| Megan, Matthew and U with rainbow eucalyptus trees. Megan wondered if God made the rainbow eucalyptus by first creating a normal tree and then throwing streaks of paint on it. |
|
| On the Ke'anae peninsula. I loved watching and listening to the surf here. |
Megan and Matthew ate cereal for dinner. They were quite tired by this
point.
|
| We also enjoyed some yummy banana bread! |
