U and Sarah joined us in Cedar City after they were done with work and school and we drove from Cedar to Grand Lake for U's family's family reunion. It was a relatively uneventful drive except for the part where Matthew got car sick. No fun! We ended up spending a few hours in Grand Junction to get some food and meds to help and to give him and the girls some time out of the car. Thankfully, we didn't have anymore car sickness on the trip (although we did regularly give Matthew medication to help). Because of our delay, we arrived in Grand Lake fairly late. The next morning, we enjoyed some time in the cabin before heading off to church.

Megan and Buckwheat. At the beginning of 3rd grade, Megan needed to choose a picture to tell about what she did this summer. This was the picture she chose. |

| When we went to get in the car before church, we noticed that a spider had spun quite an intricate web on the door handle. |
We brought our trains to give to Sebastian. The four youngest kids enjoyed playing with them on a few different occasions.

We went on a two hour boat ride on Shadow Mountain and Grand Lake. We had two boats, with some people switching boats partway through.

We went on numerous walks including one where Grandpa and Me got quite wet from the rain. Me hoped to see moose on a walk since Grandpa usually sees some every day when he walks but we never did. It seemed the holiday week crowds had scared them off. However, there was lots of beautiful scenery and other wildlife.

| Beautiful sunset! |

| We saw a couple of deer. |
