We've had quite a few big storms this year including multiple haboobs. One evening we had a really brief, intense storm. The next day, we saw so much damage everywhere from the storm as well as some flooding in the greenbelts.

| The damage to our neighbor's palo verde. (Makes our one branch seem insignificant....) |
 |
| Downed mesquite in the common area by our home. |
Megan and Matthew were able to dress as if they were from an Enchanted Forest as that was the theme of the book fair. We took advantage of the downed trees to get some nice pictures of our Peter Pan and knight.
Last weekend, we played mini golf at a glow-in-the-dark place and then ate frozen custard at Culvers. It was all free, thanks to the summer reading program at the library.

| Oh no! We got caught. Me, U, Matthew and Megan with Sarah on the floor. |
 |
| Matthew thoroughly enjoyed his double marshmallow oreo custard. That's what everyone ate except Me, who had vanilla. |

 |
| Megan and Matthew built a fort by themselves using stools and blankets. You can see Megan peeking out of the spy holes in both pictures. |

Megan and Matthew with their fort. They invited U and Me inside, but there weren't really any adult-sized spaces. |
The kids had school pictures. We got digital downloads of Megan's and Matthew's.
