Last week, the Adams came to visit us for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed having them come. There was much playing, bikes and scooters were ridden, there was some shopping done, many games were played, and there was a trip to the zoo and the park. The kids survived U and Me watching them while their parents went on a date to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. We watched Disney shorts and had root beer floats. And of course there was a yummy Thanksgiving meal. During the meal, everyone shared some things they were thankful for. There were nice things like family and friends and the world. The eleven year olds were thankful for things like mashed potatoes. Elizabeth really got into it. My favorite? She's thankful for crying. This came right after being thankful for going to bed.
An attempt at getting everyone in one photo during our Thanksgiving Day dinner.

We had pie as dinner that night. When planning how many pies to make, I had figured we had 11 people eating them. But we only had 8 as the three youngest Adams don't eat pie (they also don't eat root beer floats). With four pies, that made for half a pie each. We had lemon, cherry cheese, pumpkin and sweet potato pies. Yum!
Since Elizabeth's birthday was the Monday following Thanksgiving, we had her open her gift before she left. Here she is opening the gift. She's wearing one of Megan's old nightgowns that Megan just outgrew with a purple dress on top of it. She was so excited by all the new clothes she was getting (Megan's hand me downs).
Elizabeth was so excited to receive her Frozen microphone. She really liked that she could sing along to "Let It Go." She'd been using a bulb syringe as a microphone so this was definitely a step up.
Few picture of all the kids.
