Sarah had a swim meet last Saturday. Considering that she's had one practice since her last meet three weeks prior, she did really well--she improved her time in 3 of 4 events and was flat in the 4th event. The pool she was at was pretty shallow on one end so she didn't do flip turns. (She actually tried to during warm up and bonked her head on the bottom of the pool.)
Here are her times:
Backstroke: 52.2 seconds
Breaststroke: 1 min 4 seconds
Butterfly: 58.6 seconds
Freestyle: 46.4 seconds

She would tell you she was proud of coming in first in her freestyle race. She was in 3rd going into the turn, but had a good turn and then led the whole second half of the race. It was close and exciting to watch!
