Yesterday, Sarah celebrated her 9th birthday. It's pretty crazy to me that she's already nine! (Isn't that what moms always say?) It was also her last day of 3rd grade, so she had a lot of fun activities at school including looking at each other's baby pictures and trying to determine who was who. She said nobody got hers!
Once she got home from school, we had a little party. For dinner, we had chicken nuggets, watermelon and a bunch of veggies. She then opened her presents. We watched "The Pirate Fairy." We decorated cupcakes and ate cupcakes and ice cream. And she received lots of phone calls from well wishers. Definitely a fun day for our birthday girl.
She was excited to open her gifts.
I love her face in the next couple photos. She was very enthused about her gifts and many of them were "just what I always wanted."
With her gifts. She got some shorts and capris, a pair of sandals, a nightgown, a hairband lollipops, a jewelry holder, a couple art projects, some books, a horse ride and some money.
Decorating the cupcakes.
What a lot of candles on that little cupcake!
