We started off seeing the butterflies. This one liked me. It stayed on my shoulder for quite awhile.
Sarah posing by a butterfly.
Megan loved seeing all the butterflies. She'd probably still be investigating them if it was up to her.
"Let me get a closer look...."
"Yes, that is most definitely a monarch."
Riding out to the pumpkin patch with my girls.
U and Matthew.
Matthew found a nice seat to sit upon and enjoy the live music.
Megan shows us her pumpkin.
Megan LOVED the petting zoo. She spent lots of time with all the animals and probably would have spent all day there had we let her. Here she is with Tinker Bell the pig.
Matthew and one of the goats.
I think Sarah's favorite animal was the chicken. It seemed like every time I turned around she was holding it.
The miniature horse. Just the right size for toddlers. Which they loved.
Megan cornering the sheep.
Megan petting the horse. She followed it around and often had her arm over its back. I think she'd like one of her own.
All three kids loving on the horse. (That horse seriously wins some award for patience. It puts up with a lot from all the kids running around. Some kids even stuck the chicken on its back.)
Sarah and Matthew driving the tractor.
Megan gets her turn.
Playing some games. Yes, we came home with lots of cheap prizes--tattoos, erasers, stickers, plastic snakes and bears, etc. They might be disappearing when they are left lying around.
"Cheese!"
Definitely a fun-filled day!
