A Tale of Two Loaves


It was the best of loaves, it was the worst of loaves....

Seriously, these are two loaves made in our bread machine two days in a row. Any guesses what the difference is?

    This has happened to me also. I used the same ingredients in both loaves, including yeast from the same jar. I have no idea why it happened.

    Flour was the difference. The short one was made with flour ground from wheat canned in the 70's.
