U's birthday was three days before Christmas. He celebrated by working while the rest of us played:) Ok, not really, but he did go to work. (He's said that is something he had to get used to since he always had his birthday off from school as a kid. Unlike others of us who had finals on our birthday....) We put some balloons and cards in his car to help him feel a little festive. AFter he got home, we had a yummy dinner, opened presents and had rhubarb crisp. My parents arrived that day so they joined in the fun. After dinner, we went to the zoo to see Zoolights.
My mom doing "Heavy Heavy Hang"; I don't remember what U wished for her, but it must have been good since he got the card.
