We left Provo early Tuesday morning and headed to Cedaredge to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Bickmore. It was nice to have a second adult in the car who could play I Spy and read books while we drove.
We were welcomed to Grandma and Grandpa's home by a group of nine deer. The kids hopped out of the car to investigate.
Megan and Matthew loved playing with Grandma's special chair.
Grandma and Aunt Sue had made us a yummy lunch including chicken, macaroni and cheese, jello with mandarin oranges, blueberries and marshmallows, veggies and cookies. We enjoyed visiting with them and learning about Grandma A's childhood. (Did you know she lived on Long Island? Baltimore? Dakota territory? I knew she moved a lot but I don't remember knowing about some of those places.)
Sarah and Grandma sat together in the kitchen.

Matthew found a little ornament from Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas tree. Here he is holding it with Grandma. She later gave it to him.

All of the kids enjoyed spending a bit of time outside. Here, Matthew is looking for rocks to help build Grandpa's stone fences.
Apricot blossoms. (Hope they're not too early!)
Glad you were able to spend some time with them!
