Provo: Fairy House

Grandma has a couple of fairy houses in her yard. The kids loved checking it everyday, especially since there would sometimes be candy waiting for them. One day, they had the great idea of making another fairy house. They gathered lots of building materials.

With the supplies. (Hats: wearing them on your head is highly overrated--they are much better for carrying things.)

The finished product: Front view.

Front view from above.

View from back.

View of top.

In its place in the yard. Notice that there is a little birdbath in front of the home as well as some pinecone trees to the left.

It was a fun project!

Funny story: Megan was complaining about being bored at one point on our trip and we talked about how great it is to be bored because then we get to be creative and figure out cool things to do. As Megan, Matthew and U were collecting things for the fairy home, Megan said, "It's a good thing you were bored, daddy, so that you could come up with this idea."
