Our last full day, we went to Mt. Charleston. We went on a short, but very rocky, hike to Robbers Roost. Thankfully, there were no robbers there--just lots of kids:) (One of CL's friends cames with us with two of her kids so there were 9 kids.)
Megan quickly became good friends with Jack.
Me and the kiddos.
Me and Sarah. She sure is growing up!
Me.

We then drove a short distance to a stream where we had a picnic lunch and the kids played in the stream and trees.
Matthew, Megan and Jack on the walk to the picnic tables.
Playing around.
Matthew found this huge stick which he wanted to bring with us. He managed to convince Megan to help him and they carried it back. We brought it with us to Provo where it was deposited in grandma and grandpa's yard.

That is an awfully large stick! I think it qualifies as a branch. Did it travel on the roof of your van? I love playing in the mountains!
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's a branch. It fit in our van, though, so no riding on the roof!
DeleteNice to be in the cool weather, I'm sure. (Gpa A)
ReplyDeletethe climbing looks fun and the crowd of kids also looks fun.
