Winter Park

Our first full day in Colorado (Monday), we went to Winter Park and participated in all the fun activities they have going on during the summer. For most of us, this meant going on the Alpine Slide over and over and over again. The kids loved it, the adults loved it. So much fun! There were a few other activities that people participated in as well including the Leaps and Bounds Bungee, the Human Maze, the Zephyr chairlift (which goes a lot higher up the alpine slide chairlift--lots of beautiful scenery), GyroXtreme, bouncy house, climbing wall and mini golf.

U and Matthew getting ready to go down the slide. Matthew liked to be in control and he would push the lever as far forward as he could as soon as the sled started moving. He would throw his little body around the sled in the curves and absolutely loved it!

Jon was proud of Zach--one time at the top, the worker told Jon that the previous time he was going too fast at the top and he needed to slow down. But it wasn't Jon driving--it was Zach! So Zach is a little speed demon (along with the rest of the kids!).
