June 15th was a big day for Sarah as she was baptized! It was something she'd been excited about for a long time. She and U went to the church early to get ready for the big event.
The baptismal program started with a song, prayer and talk on baptism in the chapel. The sister giving the talk noted that the Primary theme for June is "I will follow Heavenly Father's plan by being baptized and confirmed." Sarah sure was prompt at following that injunction!
We then had the baptisms. After everyone was back together, there was a special musical number by Adam's family (he was the other child from our ward getting baptized.) Then Grandma A gave a talk on the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was a great talk! The confirmations were next. The bishop welcomed Sarah and Adam as the newest members of our ward. The closing song was "I like to look for rainbows" (Sarah's choice) and then Grandma O gave the closing prayer. Definitely a nice program.
The whole crew. (If Matthew looks tired, it is because he just woke up. He slept through the entire program including being passed off multiple times between Grandma and Grandpa A.)

Some nice shots U took of Sarah. What a beautiful girl!
What a special little girl. We really enjoyed being able to be there for her baptism.
