We ate breakfast at our cottage and then headed into Savonlinna.

We went to the Riihisaari Museum where they had a lot of info about the area. We saw items they recovered from the Salama, a ship which sunk in 1898 and was recovered 73 years later in 1971. We learned a lot about waterways and steamships and the local seals.

We went on a tour of Olavinlinna Castle. We heard them practicing for the opera which was pretty cool.

We came back to the cottage. It was windy so we stayed inside instead of going out on the lake. We played Mint Cooperative and SkyJo (with normal cards). For dinner, we had French toast with ice cream for dessert.
Megan liked the Nutella jars.
