Cedar City Days 3 & 4: Navajo Lake and Cedar Breaks

Wednesday, most of us had a rather relaxed morning. Some of the older teens and their moms went to Utah Tech to check out that school. U made yummy French toast for us. And there were games...

In the afternoon, we headed to Navajo Lake. It was a bit rainy when we arrived but overall it was a nice time. Emma stayed in the lake for a looooong time.
Brian and Matthew work on pumping up a paddleboard.

Pump Matthew, pump!

Me, who was still feeling a bit under the weather.

After a yummy taco dinner, we worked on a puzzle and played Blank Slate, which was really fun! A few fun memories: "Soda" was a good word if you did not know what to put. Cheryl-Lynn trying to cheat to get others to match her (by doing hand gestures and such) but it never working. The clue being "_____ cycle" and Me asked if compound words worked. Jon said, "Compound worked. For example, if the word was '_____cycle', bicycle worked." We all busted up laughing since that was the word. In fairness, there was a gap of time between when the clue was given and when Me asked the question. It was funny.

Thursday morning, we worked some more on the puzzle.

Then we headed out to higher elevations for some hiking.
First, we did the short Bristlecone Pines hike.
