Matthew stomping on the non Newtonian liquid by the glacier. It was
very interesting. It's like a huge batch of Oobleck. When walking on
it, it become jiggly like a jello cake, just waiting to break
through.

We put on our micro spikes and headed onto the glacier.

This looked like black rocks but it is actually black ice. There is
so much sediment in it that it does not scatter light.

While the first part of the group moved forward after looking into
the moulin, they found another moulin. We saw quite a few of
them.

We then walked into a crevasse. Adam took pictures of us although Megan's
somehow got lost.

Another cool moulin that has water flowing into it from three
different directions.
|
Some other cool features on the glacier. It is always changing as the ice
melts. It is a lesson in erosion except that it happens much more quickly
than land erosion.

distinct taste to it, almost like citrus, and was quite good.
