April Legoland Trip

The beginning of April, Megan, Matthew and Me headed to Legoland California for a couple of days. It was a nice break from the craziness at home. It was a bit on the chilly side (in the 60s) and overcast for a lot of the time. We didn't take our coats off the second day. The first day was pretty low, crowd-wise. The second day was much busier. Both days, the kids enjoyed spending a lot of time in the play areas and were often sad when it was time to go ride rides. It was definitely a nice time for all of us.

There is a stowaway in the luggage. Yes, that is a whole container of Lego mini figures.

Our first ride was the Coastal Cruise.

Then it was on to Unikitty's Disco Drop. Gotta love Unikitty's rules!

Megan at Sky Patrol

Matthew at Sky Patrol. He flew Me around.

Matthew at Skipper School. It was a bit of a jam.

Matthew enjoyed propping himself up on the inside of the boat.

Oh no! The shark got both Megan and Matthew.

We visited with Lucy and Emmet in Lego Movie World.

Me and Matthew riding at the very front of the Dragon.

Megan was right behind us.

Yeah Technic!

Ninjago

We walked on Deep Sea Adventure.

We went on Dragon quite a few times. Here, Megan took a brief nap.

Dance party with Benny. I don't think I've ever seen him not smiling :)

Day 2
There were some cool Easter decorations in the gift shop.

Ninjago was our first ride. There were some strange issues on the ride (like our ride vehicle spun backwards at one point) but it was a good ride. Matthew was very happy with his score.

Megan drove Me around with her.

Megan and Matthew were excited to get this Benny spaceship with popcorn in it.

We looked around the set of the Lego Movie 2. It is cool to see the builds they used.

Matthew checking out some fish at Sea Life Aquarium.

The giant pacific octopus woke up and moved around while we were there. It was really neat to see!

Very colorful elephant!

Matthew was excited to finally meet Benny.

Matthew doing ninja exercises with Lloyd.

Dinosaurs have taken over NYC!!!

Eek!!!

Finally on Coastersaurus! And we even got to be in the back.

We love Technic.

We rode Dragon a few times at the beginning of the day and then again a few times at the end of the day. It's one of my favorite rides!

Megan and Matthew were excited to see Nia at the Bricks Family Restaurant where we had dinner.

Megan and Matthew with the bellhop at the Legoland hotel.

Goodbye for now!

What helpful bellhops!
