One night recently at dinner, we were discussing nicknames--what they are, how we get them, what some of our nicknames are. We talked about how one of my nicknames is "Minda" and told the story of our nephew Tanis, when he said that we were going to "Minda-sota" for something.
Megan perked right up when she heard this, although she heard it in a little different way. She said she thought we should have "Minda-ice cream."
Minda-sota sounds like a drink of some sort to me. I guess we hear what we want to hear and I'm thirsty. How was the ice cream?
