We went to the Winter Wonderland at daddy's work.
First stop: Santa!
Mrs. Claus was there, too, handing out candy canes.
The kids enjoyed getting a balloon (despite Sarah's face.....). Matthew got a sword, Megan a flower and Sarah a heart.
Making New Year's Eve poppers. They had quite a few little craft stations that they kids participated in.
Face/hand painting. Matthew's is a tiger and Megan's is a Christmas tree.
Matthew wanted a close up of his face.
Sarah's sparkly snowman.
Decorating crowns. We had to get really creative with letters as the kids all wanted to put their names on the crowns and most common ones (all vowels and "n", for instance) were already used. So an upside down "v" worked for "a" for example.
Sarah and Matthew dressed up like Magi.
Other activities included the telling of the nativity story, decorating cookies and coloring wreaths for veterans. It was a fun activity!
