Grandma and Grandpa O arrived just in time for Megan's 5th birthday. They stayed for the long weekend and we kept busy! On Saturday morning, we headed to the Desert Botanic Garden where the kids did an animal scavenger hunt and we saw lots of desert plants. We then ate lunch at In N Out before going to the Railway Museum. It's one mile from our house and it's the first time we've been there! Matthew decided that instead of being a firefighter, he's going to be a train helper man. U and I were able to go to the temple to do sealings. Grandma made a yummy fish dinner and then Grandpa treated everyone to Kokomos.
Sunday, we made a video for Great Grandma O. We went to church. After dinner, the kids went over to the hotel where they got to spend the night--so exciting! We got kicked out pretty quickly. Monday, the kids enjoyed the hotel breakfast and a walk before swimming for 2 1/2 hours! We ate at Chipotle for lunch before everyone had some much needed quiet time. Megan and Matthew enjoyed playing hide-and-seek with Grandma and playing tag and going to the park with Grandpa. Sarah helped Grandma make her Halloween costume and enjoyed lots of bonding time with Grandpa. We sure enjoyed having them come visit!
Posing on the posts with Grandpa at the Botanic Garden. U and I were attempting to trade places.

Me.
Interesting looking saguaro. I've never seen anything like it.
Megan in the steam engine at the Railway Museum.
All of us on the train. It was beautiful!
Riding the train.
Matching! (Matthew put on his clothes first and then independently asked both mom and dad to wear the same clothes as him. So we're triplets!)
Sarah showing off the costume Grandma made for her for Halloween. She has so many choices of what to be. It'll be interesting to see what she ends up being.
Slumber party at the hotel!
Me at the pool.

Ta da!
U and Matthew.
Look Ma--I'm walking! (She was so proud she could touch the bottom!)
Megan really liked playing with her Tangled doll in the pool.
In the back left corner, you can see Matthew swimming--he really can swim (as can Megan and Sarah).
Thanks for coming to visit! We look forward to seeing you again!
