7/11 swim meet

Sarah went to her second meet this past Saturday and was very happy with how she did. She got first place in all of her races and her times were quite good as well.

Freestyle: 41.16 sec
Backstroke: 48.80 sec
Breaststroke: 1 min 1.56 sec
Butterfly: 53.46 sec (probably less as the guy timing didn't stop the watch right away)

I timed the first two strokes and Matthew was my little helper. He was especially helpful on backstroke, where I have to stop the timer while simultaneously ensuring the kid's head doesn't bonk the wall. He got pretty good at holding the kickboard to help protect the swimmer's head.
