Fall Festival

We went to the Fall Festival at the Desert Botanic Garden. It's always a lot of fun. They have carnival-style games for the kids where they can get exciting prizes like tattoos and small plastic toys. They have really yummy kettle corn that you can buy fresh--mmmm! There's a short ride out to the pumpkin patch and hay bale maze. All the kids get to pick a pumpkin to bring home. There's a small petting zoo as well as live music.

Grandpa treated Sarah to a pony ride

On the tractor ride--Megan and Matthew both loved that we were in the front so they could see really well

Sarah decorating her pumpkin; Megan's and Matthew's are the small ones beside hers

U carrying Sarah's pumpkin--he got a lot of comments on this (notice the spider on his hat)

Megan says, "Oooo! I can put this thing in and out of grandpa's pocket."

  1. What fun! But I love how Megan and Matthew are so much in their own little worlds, they are oblivious to such things as picture taking. They are too busy investigating/exploring things!
