Me and her sister signed up for a Readership cruise last April. Since it was leaving from LA, they decided to spend a couple days at Disneyland beforehand. Their parents joined them for that part of the journey. The last time Me was at Disneyland with her parents, she was in 6th grade!!!

| Another view of the hotel room. It is a decent hotel with an amazing location. |
 |
| Dad and Me headed towards Disneyland around 6:40. This was the security line when we arrived. |
 |
| And here we are at the gate. Chery-Lynn and mom joined us so we all got in the park when the gates opened around 7:30. |
 |
| We got "I made it to Rope Drop" stickers. |

| Cheryl-Lynn, Me, Mom and Dad at the rope. We visited with a couple from Palm Springs who correctly guessed that Cheryl-Lynn is a teacher and Me a scientist. We also talked to a lady who comes to Disneyland every Wednesday. |
Once the rope dropped, we hurried to Peter Pan where we had a slight delay due to the ride not coming up right at 8 am. We then went on Alice, Pinocchio and Snow White.
 |
| We walked over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. We took this photo of us with Jessie and Woody in the background on our way. |
 |
| Next up was Haunted Mansion. Mom snapped this photo, saying this was her normal view (trying to keep up with Cheryl-Lynn and Me and their backpacks). |
We then went on Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones. We watched the Bootstrappers playing in New Orleans Square for a bit. There was a kid who was whistling through his fingers and playing with them. It was quite impressive.

 |
| We saw a little show with Kylo Ren demanding that his troops look for a spy in the area. They took their job very seriously! |
We got some Photo Pass photos near the Millennium Falcon.

We then went on Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway which was a new ride to Me. We all really enjoyed it! Cheryl-Lynn and Me then went on Gadget's Go Coaster because CL has never been on it! (I remember times when we would go on it over and over again when the kids were young.) We were going to catch the train over to New Orleans Square but just missed it so decided to walk. We are glad we did as we got some nice Photo Pass photos on the way plus we got to see the Disneyland Band perform and saw Mickey's Cavalcade Parade.

 |
| We went on Tiana's. |
Next, we went on Pooh and then explored Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.

| Mom and Me on Buzz. |
 |
| Cheryl-Lynn, Me and Dad went on Space Mountain. It is such a fast ride! I enjoyed it at the beginning but it was a bit long. |
Cheryl-Lynn, Dad and Me then went on Matterhorn. Afterwards, we all went on Storybook Land Canals. We used one of our multipass lightning lanes we had received to go in the exit and then the Cast Member didn't even scan it, telling us to save it for another ride. How nice!

We went on Star Tours and then ate dinner. We rode Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway using a bonus lightning lane. At this point, we split up, with Mom and Dad riding the train around the park and then watching the Tapestry of Happiness at its a small world before going back to the hotel.
Cheryl-Lynn and Me went on Millennium Falcon and then rode Big Thunder twice before going to the Tapestry of Happiness projections.

We then went on Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Jungle Cruise (with a good skipper!) before heading to Wondrous Journeys with projections in the hub. We were impressed we got so much done in less than 90 minutes!
 |
| Me at the show. We had a nice view. |
 |
| Castle with some of the projections. It was a really cool show. |
We then hurried to Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway for one last ride. I really like that ride!

It was an amazing day! Overall, lines were not long. We had lightning lane and used it in the afternoon and evening, although we started collecting passes in the morning. We would have been ok without lightning lane although we did get more done with it. We got 5 multipasses (1 from Matterhorn, 1 from Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and 3 from Roger Rabbit). I enjoyed the PhotoPass benefit (although it is possible to buy that on its own). We had good luck getting earlier return times using refresh even with a group of 4.
Cheryl-Lynn had a step count of 28,000. We went on 31 rides/attractions, saw 6 shows/performances and got PhotoPass photos at 5 locations. Plus we were in a magical place with some of our favorite people. It was a great day!
