Saturday morning, we slept in a bit before having a yummy breakfast at the hotel and heading to Old Town.

| We spent quite a bit of time at the blacksmith shop. There were three blacksmiths working at the time. This lady taught us a lot about blacksmithing. She showed us how quickly metal heats up and how soft and pliable it gets. Megan asked how to get a gem in metal and Matthew asked about how they make locks. |

After lunch, we headed to Ocean Beach for a bit.

We intended to go to the Mormon Battalion site after dinner but had been given wrong information about how late they were open. Oh well! We did look in the wagon.
