Family Reunion Days 1 & 2: Fun Center, Picnic, Lake

We headed up to SLC, stopping by Sherie Allen's new home on the way. It was so good to see her!

We arrived at the reunion and settled in. We watched a 1000+ photo slide show of the family. It was fun to see the family grow and to see everyone grow up.

Megan and Matthew were excited to give Grandpa his Father's Day gift: a beaded bald eagle made by someone in Africa. We purchased it at Feed My Starving Children and the money was split between the community in Africa and the food packs for kids.

Monday morning, we went to the Fun Center in Sandy. It was a fun place! We bounced in a new bounce area, played laser tag and skated/roller bladed.

Monday evening, we went to the park for a picnic and pictures.

Tuesday, we went to Highland Glen Lake. People brought 2 kayaks and 2 standup paddleboards that people enjoyed taking out. Some people played ladderball as well.

There was lots of visiting and some card games going on as we watched people out on the lake.

U and Me did get out on the water a few times. Once we went together with Me paddling and U sitting on the SUP. Me went out with Matthew in a kayak. U went out on the kayak a few different times. That evening, we got dinner for everyone--taco salad and burritos with watermelon.
