Grandma and Grandpa O visit

 We enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa O come for a visit. We played games, including a crazy form of Uno, had a sing along, looked at Christmas lights and ate Chipotle and frozen yogurt.

Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to the Desert Botanical Garden. They seemed to have a good time.

We went to a drive through live nativity and then drove around to look at Christmas lights.

Grandma helped Megan and Matthew put together a mini gingerbread village Megan won at school (for her gingerbread winning "the most traditional").

We visited the zoo. We went on the safari cruiser around the park.

These ducks were swimming around in circles with their heads in the water. Many different groups of birds were doing it.

We went into Stingray Bay to pet and feed the stingrays. It felt a bit strange when they suctioned the food from our hand into their mouth.

Sarah continues to charm snakes.

How many lizards do you see?

One night they were in town, Jupiter and Saturn were in close alignment. The first picture is a really zoomed up picture from the camera. The second is a picture from the iPod to give some perspective on how close they appeared. It was taken later so they were farther apart than in the earlier photo.
