California and Legoland: Day 2

On Sunday we went to Church with the Jensen's and then went back to their house for some dinner and games.  We had a lot of fun playing Telestrations and What If.

Melinda drew a very nice picture of bowling.

A later interpretation of the word.

Which U obviously didn't understand.

Matthew proving he can still suck on his toes.

After games, we all headed to the beach for some fun playing.

Matthew, Lizzie and Megan playing in the water.

Sarah just wanted to collect some rays and listen to her tunes.

Georgia organized the kids to help her build and protect a sandcastle.

The castle itself was built by dribbling wet sand into interesting shapes.

There were some dolphins swimming really close to the beach that we got to watch.  Some were even jumping out of the water.

Another dolphin shot. Can you spot two dolphins?

Patterns from the waves.

Megan was searching for round black rocks.

Once we got back to the hotel, we decided to go back to see miniland.  Unfortunately, they didn't install lights in the city so we couldn't see anything.  So we headed over to see the aquarium.

Friendly mantas greeted us to the aquarium.

Then we were attacked by angry jellyfish.

Matthew looking out from an underwater observation point.

We were able to touch sea stars and anemones.

The jellyfish room was closed but we got to watch some of them swimming in another tank.

A big manta ray coming towards us.

I wonder if he thinks that umbrella will ward off the shark.

These tiny little fish were sticking out of the sand.

A big shrimp walking along.

A couple of sea horses hanging out.

This horse was striking out for another stalk of seagrass.

Sitting in the shark cage.

U and Matthew with the statue of Triton.
