We went to Grandma and Grandpa A's house for Thanksgiving. Because of an incoming storm, we ended up going to their house a day earlier than planned. Thankfully, we beat the storm and enjoyed an extra day with extended family. The kids were excited to play in the snow as well. They were sure there were times it was a blizzard. (It was quite windy on Wednesday--20 mph sustained winds and gusts that could knock us over.) Over the weekend, we played in the snow, built snowmen and a snow fort, went sledding and swimming, had a snowball fight with Grandpa, watched movies and the new Star Wars series The Mandalorian, played games (mostly Oh Heck! and Tenzi) and, of course, ate lots of yummy food. Grandpa played monster with the grandkids in the basement. Both Lizzy and Me celebrated birthdays while we were together as well.

Some people, including Megan, went sledding on three different days. All of us headed out to the hill on Melinda's birthday. The snow was patchy in spots and it was a bit icy as well.
