On Monday, we went to Zion National Park. I'd hoped to go to Bryce National Park but due to the recent snowfall, all trails below the rim were closed so we opted to go to Zion instead. It's a beautiful park and we enjoyed our time there.

| Megan spotted these deer near the Visitor's Center. |
| We got off the shuttle at Weeping Rock. |

| View from the falls into the canyon. |
| We rode the shuttle to the last stop, Temple of Sinawava, and walked along the river until the start of the Narrows. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks into the river. |
| Cheese! |
Some nice views from the canyon.
| Cute squirrel! |

| We came across this gurgling spring. |
| Megan looking towards the spring. There was lots of green growth around it. |
| Waterfall! It was on the other side of the river and Sarah wanted to get to it. |

| Sarah trying to navigate her way across the river. |
| Grandma watching as Sarah comes back to shore after deciding not go to the waterfall. (The water was fast and there wasn't a good way to cross on the rocks.) |
| We hiked to the Lower Emerald Pool. It was nice and cool behind the waterfall. |
| Panoramic from behind the waterfall. |

Zion really is a beautiful park!

| Matthew wanted to take a picture of Me taller than the mountain on the other side of the canyon. |
| Matthew was also taller than the mountain. |
| The Watchman |
| Matthew was taller than the Watchman, of course. |
That was a great day! Beautiful surroundings, pleasant weather and good company.
