The Arizona teachers went on strike so we had an unexpected six day break from school. Of course, we didn't know if would be six days--it was on a day-by-day basis. Anyhow, we took advantage of the time to play, relax and go on a few excursions, one to the Science Center and one to Casa Grande Ruins National Monument.

We enjoyed going to Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year.
