Over Spring Break, the kids and I headed up to Utah to visit grandparents. We left Monday morning and took a beautiful route. We saw the Vermilion Cliffs and then drove into a juniper forest and then a pine forest before winding our way down the plateau to the valley below.
Fog in Flagstaff. It was quite thick for a bit.
The clouds against the red rock were beautiful.
We stopped at Navajo Bridge. It's lovely.
Just in case you thought jumping from the bridge was a good idea, it's illegal.....
It really is beautiful!
Sarah, Megan and Matthew on the bridge.
The Colorado River as it winds its way from Lake Powell toward the Grand Canyon.
Me with Megan and Matthew.
The kids were excited to see some snow in the distance. (Matthew and I saw some close up as we drove 89-A near the north entrance of the Grand Canyon; the girls were sleeping.)
What a beautiful drive!
