This past Saturday, we went to the Legoland Discovery Center. For Christmas, each kid received an activity gift and this was Matthew's. He was very patient waiting for us to go. When we asked him afterwards what his favorite part was, he said, "Everything!"
At the beginning, we went on a tour of the Lego Factory and were able to help by designing Lego minifigures and stamping faces on minifigures.
We then went on Kingdom Quest where we shot at trolls, spiders and skeletons to help save the princess and the baby dragon.
We toured Miniland which contained many scenes from Phoenix and Arizona. It changed from night to day periodically.
We watched a few shows in the 4D theater. In our favorite, characters from the Lego Movie visited Brick World, where Risky Business (President Business's brother) tried to trick them into performing in a show for his amusement park. They even sang "Anything is Super" (to a tune very similar to "Everything is Awesome").
We went on Merlin's Apprentice Ride which was a Dumbo-type ride where pedaling makes the couch rise and stopping makes it fall. There was great music that went along with the ride and we agreed that the ride was more fun than you would think it would be.
There were a number of play areas and building areas that people enjoyed.
Matthew in the Lego City play area. He and Megan spent over an hour in here and would have loved to stay in longer. There was a construction area, a police area and a fire area.
Megan and Matthew in the police tower.
Look who got put in jail?!?
U enjoyed building. This is the mini Duplo Eiffel Tower he created.
U building a Mixel-type creature.
Final product. This Mixel is part of the unreleased princess castle line. As the director of daily affairs in the castle, Howzky uses her stick to point out what needs to be done. She always keeps her house and wig in perfect order.
Sarah enjoyed building with blocks on this wall.
Astronaut U in Space Mission.

U and Matthew on Merlin's Apprentice Ride. We really did enjoy the ride and rode it quite a few times.
Do you see Howzky?

Wow! Looks like a mini Legoland! Fun for all!
