Matthew got his own double date with mom and Grandma. He was really excited about this and had lots of big plans. It started out with dinner at McDonald's, followed by playing in the play area. Then we came home and put together the fireman puzzle (the people side--that's very important) and played a few games. And we watched the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics. Fun was had by all:)

Playing in the play area. He had a bit of a hard time climbing up at first as the next level he had to reach was about the level of his armpits. He got the hang of it pretty quickly, though.
Yes, I went up there with him some of the time. What a dedicated mother!
