Christmas!

We had a really nice Christmas. We spent a relatively quite day at home, had a yummy breakfast of monkey bread and clementines (plus the kids ate most of their stocking food which was mostly fruit leather type stuff), played with new toys, ate a yummy dinner. It was a really nice day.

Couple funny stories:

Christmas Eve, Sarah, U and I were playing a game before Sarah went to bed. Sarah was REALLY concerned that she needed to go to bed so that she wasn't up when Santa came. She actually told us a few times that we needed to be done with the game so she could go to bed. That's something that doesn't happen often! Good news: we finished the game and she was able to be in bed sleeping before Santa came.

Christmas morning, the girls and I were awake, waiting for U and Matthew to get up to open present. The following is how U woke up:

S: Daddy, Daddy wake up!
U: Good morning Sarah!
S: Guess what?
U: What?
S: Now only Matthew is asleep!

She then proceeded to say that if they talked really loud, maybe Matthew would wake up. It worked for her.
