A picnic and a hike

One day we were in Colorado, we went on a drive to see fall leaves. While we did see some beautiful leaves, what we mostly saw was either green or dead, courtesy of the snowstorm a few days before. It was still nice to see some color. We also stopped for a picnic and hiked around Evergreen Lake.

Yummy food!

Our "hike." It was relatively flat. Unless you count the stairs down by the dam.

Megan loved throwing leaves in the water.

  1. That was a fun day! And the leaves in town were at their peak just a week later. Oh well, we did have a good time.
