On Monday afternoon,we participated in Aspen Follies. Basically, it's a bunch of challenges that you do together as a family. (Except for the youngest kids, who were still in their classes.) We had a team name and everything. It was really fun!
Threading through the hula hoop.
Plunger pass
Alphabetizing the plates
Gunny sack race
Attempting to get everyone in the "tire."
Here we go...
There was a bean bag toss for the littler kids.
Filling the holey bucket with water. Yes, you could have people in there so you'd need less water to fill the bucket. We even got extra points since grandpa got in:)
Since we were already wet from the holey bucket event, we decided to do the fill the bucket from the sprinkler event (I'm sure these are the official names). Basically, there were a bunch of different sprinklers on the mat that we used to fill cups which we then went and dumped in the bucket seen on the left side of the photo. The water stream U is aiming towards the bucket was definitely the largest sprinkler. It wasn't always on, though, so we used some of the smaller ones as well. We managed to fill the bucket clear to the top. Go us!
More filling action.
The drenched participants.
Now we're more drenched! (They threw the bucket on us.)
Pushing a giant ball through a cone course.

Those were some really fun games! But we sure got drenched in a couple of them. What a fun afternoon!
